Too bad so far away! Funny thing is we used to drive out that way every Sunday just to go to church. LOL!

Sure wish they had the plant room ready. Neat place for a plant freak! Also saw a very cool fish called a green neon (get this blue stripe not green! I will have to read up might be better than a cardinal not sure?)

The plant guy did sell me some java moss even though the plant room wasn't ready. He was super nice and knowledgeable. See the bag floating in the water. Not sure where to put it just yet. Didn't look like much till I got home and added tank water to it! Looks super healthy. Need to do something quick instead of just keep adding water to the bag!

Awesome selection of rocks and driftwood outback as well. One could get in a lot of trouble there! [emoji2]

Updated picture of tank after a 25% water change.

Okay worst mistake. Trying to make a moss wall. Should have just tied it onto driftwood or rocks. Did 3 rocks in less time it took to do a tiny bit of wall that let's face it looks shabby. Don't know if I should let it go and grow or take it apart and attach to something else. Either way too tired now.

If it takes I could always cut the way I want it and put it wherever.

Lights out!

Thanks but really trying to do 2 things at once. Trying to grow some plants for the 92 and trying to get this tank for some shrimp would hate to put them all in the 92 and get eaten. Found the driftwood at thought it would be nice in the 92 and put sideways I could get it in the 29 trying to get it ready for it. Not that it is anywhere enough driftwood for the 92, nor a big enough piece. I have been thinking of trying to order some tissue cultures of anubias nana or the petite and the red bucephalandra (not sure if I need to look for a certian subspecies or what) that they had at a tank at ADG if I can find either so it would be cheaper and start growing them because I know 26 for one plant is way out of my league. Because I know I am in the "perrinal stage" of my life and don't want the moss in the big tank because I know I don't have that kind of energy to prune all the time.

First time I went to ADG was a few months back when we had our corn hole tournament (Which I still think was rigged lol!) and I absolutely loved their planted tanks. They looked stunning and so well planned out. It is obvious they are very good at what they do. I agree though, it is quite a drive for me so it unfortunately isn't some place I could visit often. Your tank is looking good Carrie, I think your moss wall will look nice once it is all grown over. Do you have any fish in there now or is it a dedicated plant habitat?

I am still trying to get the pH right. Had a big unexpected hiccup so I hope my plants are still alive when I get home. Scared to tell the kids to turn the light on because the top is too weak and my son hasn't made a plexiglass top yet. Last thing I need is a fried light fixture. Don't ever buy a top from petsmart. SUPER THIN GLASS. I swear I can see it bend.
Was trying to raise some shrimp for the 92 and get plants growing for it. Will keep the java moss and rotala wallichii in this tank for the shrimp. Would love to find some baby fish of the ones to go in the bigger tank and watch them grow up and then move them.

Thanks for taking my mind off things for a few minutes!

Good news... Home bad news... Someone left the light on on the tank. I have no idea how long. I turned it off before I left. I cleaned the front glass a little. Way to tired to do anything more today. So..... Here is what my poor tank looks like after being gone for 3 days and nights. I also had to just throw the new plants in there just to try to keep them alive.

Did Chris and I DOMINATE everyone? Yes. I didn't really have any more follow up comments. Just wanted to say that we came to win haha

I wish their plant room was fixed up. There where no plants available to buy that day except they did sell some java moss to me. I will say it was the healthiest plant I have seen so far.
I have been trying to find some tissue cultures of certain plants on the net or in Houston. Not much luck for what I am looking for.
Of course my biggest problem is I am looking for bunches nice looking plants that grow slow seperate and let them get bigger. I want the 92 gallon tank to have plants in there that I don't have to constantly trim cut etc. The other problem is I guess I have either good taste or seem to go for plants that are harder to come by.

The biggest trick is going to be keeping the java moss off the driftwood so I can move it into the other tank. I had no idea how expensive driftwood is!
I have found some net cultures but it appears they are in other countries. LOL To top that off finding them for sale here is something else.
