Nice pictures! That’s great pictures with a phone. I personally use 3 cameras depends on if I’m lazy or not. If I’m lazy I use my iPhone XR with either the polyp labs lens or a mint reef filter. If I feel I wanna do better pics I whip out my canon rebel sl2 with a 17-85 mm macro lens, now if I feel I wanna do pro level pics I use a borrowed canon 70d with a 24-105 mm macro lens. On the 17-85 mm lens I use a orange filter. I don’t really edit them, I only crop them accordingly if need be.

Nice! I've always liked photography and I used to shoot with cheap 35 mm Russian slr's to get some interesting saturation and contrast. Now that my wife and I are in the aquarium hobby I've come back to photography and the phone is the easiest thing to use; especially with some of these lens kits.

We have a pretty high end Nikon DSLR, but unfortunately not a macro lens for it. Maybe someday soon, who knows...

Phones are the next best thing sometimes even better than dslr. But to shoot corals with a dslr a macro lens is pretty much a must have. I’m more into filmmaking than photography but I do both. A mixture of both is a good practice.

Just purchased that lens kit. I was looking at your pictures the other day and didn't realize you listed which one.

It's too bad the orange filter can't be put on before the macro or after.
