I caught some fresh cut bait this afternoon and I plan on getting to the groin in front of Academy around 5:00pm or 6:00pm to do a little bit of fishing before we go collecting. There's enough bait for 2-3 people. Anyone that wants to join me is more than welcome to share it with me.

I'm heading out that way now. I'll be the dummy in jeans and a blue t-shirt and a black backpack fishing on the groin.

Aside from a lady crabbing right next to the shoreline, I have the entire groin to myself.

Those nems look cool.

Are they high risk in a typical reef tank? I’m sure it will eat small fish.

I don’t think they’re that aggressive, because most are very small. I’m sure they would eat a tiny fish, but I wouldn’t be too worried about it. These are small as in .50 cent piece or silver dollar small. That’s open too.

Just like any other nems. They will catch what they can, but i have seen small fish come in contact with a few tentacles and just flick there tail and get out.

One thing I will say is they don't look like that under reef lights. I always enjoy them better under a more natural sunlight spectrum.

With some help from Chris I got my little nem garden started. My goal is line every inch of this section of my sump with these colorful little guys.

It is always a good month to go... It is just a little cold. This time of year is great because you can get way out in the bay and get the critters that you cant access in the summer. The tide drops way out when we have a North wind. That is where you find the animals that stay all year. You can also access the bottom of the rocks at the end of the jetties for all the goodies.
