Thanks. I changed from apex to GHL because I wanted a way to monitor and control alkalinity from one system and one app. Apex offers the trident but they were never available and there was never any estimated time that they would be available. GHL offers the KH Director that controls alkalinity, plus the Ion Director, will monitor calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and nitrate.Wow. Looking nice. Why did you switch from the Apex?

Wiring is easy, just remember to never let the smoke out of it.I need to pay you full time to make sense of my wiring management. I was working on it today and found an 15' orange, external extension chord covered by cables. I had no idea it was there. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
Thanks...I use vetric software.Awesome set up. It’s nice to have a cnc milling machine sitting around. What did you use to design the lid?
Yeah that's true. If you bury your electrical fire in cables, it has no oxygen to breath, and will put itself out. Safety first, kiddos. Throw cables everywhere.Wiring is easy, just remember to never let the smoke out of it.

Interesting. I am only accustomed to solid works, sketch up, magics for 3D and so on all by for metal working. Vetric looks interesting though. Do you cut just plastic?
My other dosing pumps got here and I re-made my cabinet. Once the IonD is released I have a place for it.

Good luck with the DSR method. I tried it once but got tired of testing and chasing numbers. Im curious to see how easy it is for you to maintain.I havent updated this in a while. I have started the Reef Moonshine regimen the first week of January including no more water changes, adding carbon and I have added a few more corals. I just got my second ICP test back after initial corrections and im working on getting them dialed in.
I noticed my nitrate has been creeping up, the chaeto in the refugium has gone crazy so I built a sulfur dinatrator. I am not sure why sulfur media is getting hard to get but I got some and the dinitrator has been on the tank for a little more than a week. I tested the effluent yesterday at 0 yesterday so id say its broken in. I got an email yesterday and the Ion Director shipping will probably be delayed but once that does get here, it will control dosing nitrate.
