😂 thanks, I’ve got two other tanks too... jumped into the hobby head first I guess. This one, a lagoon 25, and a lagoon 45. Just got the 45 a week ago
Lol that's pretty common actually. Tanks in a reefer's home spread like aiptasia.

GET THE MOHICAN SUN ZOAS OUT NOW!!! I never use all caps and I'm using them now for a reason. They might as well be aiptasia, except they can overtake other corals, kill them by blocking out the light at their base, and slowly take their real estate. Ask any reefer that has ever had them, and they will put them in their top 3 pests of all time. Get it out now before it starts overtaking other corals.

Ohhhhh okay, yeah I went ahead and culled them out by half. Got them from Uncle Sharath so I thought maybe they were just healthy and that’s why they were growing so fast. Thanks! Also, forgot about the whole zoas will mess you up thing so I got some juice on my face... didn’t wear gloves either. Lesson learned!

😂 He's never done me wrong before, those were my first zoas... he got me hooked. Brought a couple pieces he gave me back from the dead too.
So he’s giving you Mohicans and half dead corals? What a good guy he is haha

It's okay! Really taught me a lot in the beginning on how to not kill corals, if I can rehabilitate then I can (probably) keep some healthy pieces alive and happy. Got a bunch of new frags from Reeftopia (thanks to him by the way, theyre beautiful), and did some rearranging, will be posting new pics soon

They're all healthy and growing, but the punked out favia looks nothing like the picture so a little bit of disappointment there, it's mostly brown and grey. But, I just put it higher up in another tank with a really nice radion light so I'm hoping it colors up more. The limelight hydno is actually one of my favorite corals now though and the rest of them I really like. I feel like he probably doctors his photos a little bit for more vibrancy but all in all, I'd buy from him again; probably no corals that look 'pastel' though!

Also, update on the full tank look and re-arrangements
Moved purple tip hammer to the end of the peninsula
Moved Orange Mushroom to the front left corner
Culled about half the Mohican Sun zoas and two stalks of pulsing Xenia
Cleaned up the hair algae on the zoa frags
Added 10 hermits
Added a green acan and a pink/red goniopora
Moved all cyphastrea to another tank
Moved the rainbow monti to the scan area (hoping it’ll color up better with more light)
Took in a refugee orange ricordea from my dad’s tank, in the little screw-cap thing by the scoly (trying to get it to reattach)
The stupid orange mushroom killed one of my green mushrooms (hence why I moved it)
