My big clown is sick. I've had her for probably 6 years, she's one of the first fish I bought. The other clown in this tank, a 20g, is fine, but the YWG is MIA. I fed them last night and all seemed fine. I did not notice anything wrong. What is this, and what should I do about it? She's eating and acting normal.
Ah, the YWG just popped out. He's fine. They're the only fish in this tank with a couple hermits and snails.

One more pic where you can see the discoloration at the base of her fin.

Thanks! I've got meds and a 5 gallon I can set up. I have a sponge in my big tank in the sump I can use to seed it, though doesn't the antibacterial meds kill the sponge anyway? I can use water from that tank. Or should I just do a 30 minute bath in one of these meds? Less stress for the fish? Btw, I can't find the actual bottle of Metro, but I might still have it, I have the box!

Well, she's acting normal still. I could give her a bath, but I don't want to stress her unnecessarily if it is hypermelanization. Or reverse, since she started out black. [emoji848]. I appreciate y'all chiming in!

Btw, this one's mate is a Picasso, mainly orange and white. He also has hypermelanization, showing up as black spots. I thought it was from the zoas he used to hang out in before I got the anemone, a couple of years ago. They come and go, kinda fade and come back. I assume due to how much he plays in the zoas vs the anemone.

Her eyes do look a little hazy. I'll give her a bath tomorrow unless she looks better. After that I work 36 hours in 3 days and won't have time.

Sounds like an infection is setting in. I would give her a 90 min Rally bath (1 teaspoon per gallon) and then into QT. Once in QT, dose Kanaplex + Metroplex.
