I recently had a personal experience with God, and now have a strong calling on my heart to do something with this gift of life I was given. God has called on me to work with a homeless ministry and to help feed homeless people. I'm going to be selling frags and using the profit to buy food to feed the needy. I'll be at work until Thursday morning and will work on posting pictures then in the for sale section. Frags will start at $5. Mostly sps, some Lps, and some softies.

Which charity will you be giving donations to? I'm not religious, but understand the value in helping those that have been dealt a bad hand, and I would like to help as well.

Also, I would encourage people to give whatever they can to the Houston Food Bank. I worked in the Consumer Product Goods industry and I always had fun going down and volunteering my time packaging goods for The Houston Food Bank. They're always in need of help.

I don't know the name of the mission off hand, but I respond there a lot. It's in Conroe across from Conroe welding supply

Now that I am at home and have some time, I wanted to share with everyone the plan that has been laid in front of me. We are all guilty of “donating” stuff we don’t want to food drives, I am probably the most guilty here, like canned Lima beans, etc. I have had a personal struggle with this issue, as to be completely honest, I really don’t like homeless people. God has put a calling in my heart to change that, and as a fat guy, food speaks to me. I plan on cooking really nice meals whenever I can and bringing the food to the Under Over Fellowship to donate to our homeless population. It’s all to often that we treat the homeless like they are second class citizens, and only deserve our leftovers. I feel that it is important to treat everyone the same, as we are all God’s children. My wife shared this with me yesterday: 1John 3:17-18, But if anyone has the worlds goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk in deed and in truth.
