I think it's about time we have a thread where we can post pictures of our other hobbies or whatever strikes our fancy. I will ease into it by posting one with the tanks in the background.

You think my dog is shedding enough? This pile of hair is just from a few minutes of combing and brushing, no shaving.

I think my dog could beat that (Akita) ... my old dog definitely could (Akita, but long hair). Every time he gets wet, I'll find that much around the house within about a day or two.

Pic of my dog and my cat... the cat loves the dog and always wants to be around her. He doesn't care for her...

I used to have a Samoyed who could definitely beat that as well. I could brush her for an hour, have a pile of hair almost as big as she was, and she wouldn't look any different.

This is what happens when you set the white balance for reef aquarium shots, then forget to set it back for other shots - an ugly yellow cast. But I still like this picture, and someday when I have nothing better to do I'll see if I can correct it with software.
