Your tank amazes me - I'm pretty sure you have more corals in your 20 than I have in my 294, but yours all look really healthy.

Is it just the angle of the picture, or is that nem really that close to the corals? I had to move my birds nest this weekend because the nem was killing it, and I'm going to have to frag a Monti that is dying at the tips closest to the nem. Hopefully yours isn't as sting-happy as mine.

Nem is SUPER close to the corals, like... centimeters. It’s actually stinging a favia a little bit in the back. It split into thirds less than a month ago, looks like nothing changed. Very pretty nem though, I’ve just quit feeding it so often. Just enough to keep the bubbles looking nice. Thanks for the compliment on my corals!

I broke down today, I couldn’t take it anymore. @Cody does this picture bring you joy? I am continuing to dose vibrant at the recommended dosage. Got probably 70% of it out. Also got a new indo gold branching hammer and a really pretty pink rimmed acan from @Galactic Coral today. Very pretty pieces! I’ll post them here after they get happy :) B1682C7E-1790-4EC7-BF78-4CE0F914D374.jpeg 6C9AF09D-1D30-43E0-AACA-15C9F32ACCF8.jpeg

I impressed with your removal... that’s a lot of work and takes a good amount of patience well done

Thanks! I feel like the vibrant loosened them up a good bit so I gently scraped the bubbles off with my fingers (felt a lot like harvesting pomegranate seeds) then used a net to get them out of the water column. Probably took about 2 hours to get all the bubbles out of the water, stir up the water, net more bubbles, until all the bubbles were gone. My arm is a little sore but I feel like it was definitely worth it. I felt the stress melting away with every netful of bubbles I dumped into my bucket. They were all later flushed down the toilet

Hopefully you were careful not to bust any bubbles!

Absolutely! Keep in mind, this is a 20 gallon tank though. Much easier to go over it with a fine toothed comb than a larger tank.

It looks like a lot of the bubbles were starting to die. The faded color parts are how it starts, and then one day, they're just gone.

Yeah they were definitely paler. I focused mainly on the dark green ones cause they looked healthy. I was very careful not to pop them, I’m sure a few did burst but the vibrant will hopefully keep them from coming back. I dosed 2 mL of vibrant today right before I started rippin and tearing at it so hopefully it does it’s job. I did cause I MINOR rock fall (the entire aquascape collapsed. But I pieced it back together okay I think. Probably.

Okay! Here are some kinda okay pics of the newbies!! I really need to turn the pumps off and take good good pictures of these guys but this is okay for through the glass shots. The hammer isn’t bleached, it just looks like that in the pictures and idk why. In real life it’s a quite stunning gold color, very beautiful. 545D838C-45A2-4242-9CD3-8DE7A672C72D.jpeg CF82FE2D-D67F-4C85-B255-466564FBA6DC.jpeg 0F579802-5DD7-4EB9-A57A-EC6FCCE3F1EA.jpeg

In other news, paid a visit to the good ol’ LFS and picked up a few new beauties.... I can still hear my wallet screaming in agony in the distance. Pretty sure a magician zoa, some kind of gorgeous Rhodactis (reminds me of jellybean chalice), and the fabled GOLD OCTOSPAWN!! Been eying that pretty boy for WEEKS now and finally pulled the trigger! Also participated in the POTO Live Sale yesterday!! Made out like an absolute bandit!! Won free shipping, a free mystery softie, free tshirt, free bag of cheato, and (best of all!!) a free hulk torch!! Spent $30 on a fox coral so I am VERY excited about these new additions coming in!! Should be shipping next Monday so stay tuned for that update!! 4AA98BA7-9A0C-4BAE-9F2F-00865FECDA41.png
