Decided to upgrade the hubby's FW tank this year for Christmas and opted to have a stand built specifically to compliment his office furniture. I'm a bit nervous because the guy has ghosted my simple inquiries as to "how are things coming along?" for the past 4 or 5 days. Thinking I should start working on a back up plan and find someone else who has some time on their hands and can build a stand. With the hubby being home its not possible for me to work on anything.

Does anyone know of someone reliable they can recommend? Someone who can build a sturdy stand at a fair price?

Reefaholic can build it for free- he’s got no reef and nothing to do. He’s a cool dude he will do it.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas, Looks like Im going with Andrew @ Andrew's Workshop. Down side is it wont be ready until end of January, but on the upside of things he has alot of designs for us to work with and I am going to get a nice, quality piece of furniture out of it that compliments the hubby's office furniture and colors. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cool as a Microwave.

I'm building a stand now and man it is kicking my butt. I'm getting too old for this stuff. To build a stand right- that looks good...an incredible amount of work goes into it.

It's hard for me to understand how people want to do this for money. So much work. It's kinda like a tank reseal. Huge headache!

This is my last stand I'm ever building. After this one....I'm buying the next one from a large company who builds hundreds a year.

What’s the plan? Get yourself a small table saw it will make your job easier. You are pretty much building a stand every year.
