This company sells amazing products. Quality products. From tanks, stands, stainless steel tools, and accessories.

They are probably on the pricey side, but their quality is top notch and you get what you pay for. They are up there with Elos. Yes, their tanks are geared more towards freshwater, but they can be saltwater too. Their stands are beautiful.

If I hadn’t already ordered a tank I’d surely buy a 120/G from these guys along with a white stand.

Their angled-cut seams make me want to take some money out of my multi-billion dollar trust fund and buy one of those tanks.

Just found out their cheaper than Elos. Stands aren’t crazy expensive

ADG told be me that their tanks are “God Quality.” I think they are made in Asia and Distributed out of California.

They got Jakes attention back in 2016.

For sure. Money aside, I’d buy one of those tanks. They’re gorgeous.

Where did you see these?

I'm in the market for one, but I'd like to see the stand in person first.

In theory these 45 degree corners should be stronger than the traditional tanks since there's more surface area of glass that's bonded with silicone than in a 90 degree corner. I would still feel better if they filled in the interior corners a bit more though.

When you look at them it person they are quite impressive. A true piece of art. Comparable to Elos.

I guess if I was putting a tank in a room
Where it was more like furniture these would be great. My current build is an in wall, so a lot of this pretty would be wasted. I would like to see those 45* corners in person.

Yeah, if in wall it would hide the pretty art.

They are impressive in person. What I really like is the blue color of that low iron glass on those edges. The edges are finished super perfect too.

If you have never been over to ADG you need to go check them out. I just went about a week ago and the store is looking sharp as always. Tanks all look healthy, corals looking good, etc. I went there to get some snails and some how I left with a PC Rainbow. :confused2:

I'm probably just mathematically challenged, but trying to figure out how a 45° miter cut has more (or less) surface area than a 90° overlapping joint. the 45° cut spreads the load force evenly between the two sections while a 90° joint places the load force mostly on one side but the surface area does not change or am i missing something? I suppose theoretically, since load is distributed more evenly, the miter cut may actually be able to get away with less surface area to achieve the same result as an overlapping joint.

Great looking tanks seen them at ADG but what kills the look is the white silicone unlike Elos.

These tanks are used for mostly planted tanks so I understand the while silicone...

It's basically like calculating the hypotenuse of a 45, 45,90 triangle (C=A√2). For simplicity say the glass is .5" thick. So a .5" thick glass and a 45 degree measurement back from the leading outer edge would be .70". This is a +/- 41% increase in overall surface area for bonding the glass panels at that joint compared to the 90 degree butt joint corner. This is of course figuring that both joints had the silicone applied in the same manner as this tank has ie: only in the actual joint and did not extend out onto the panels. Since this tank only has silicone in the joint and no overlap, the typical tank construction with more panel overlap would likely have more overall surface area coverage for adhesion at each joint. Which one is better? Honestly, I'd say they are fairly close to the same. It comes down to these tanks being constructed properly and more importantly installed/leveled correctly.
