How cold did your tank get?

My bta (not as fancy as yours) hung upside-down lifelessly when the tank dipped to 71. I thought for sure it was a goner then; I even cried. Didn't give up manually heating and aerating the tank though, and the nem was back to looking perfectly normal within 12 hours of getting power back. This is my first nem and I'm beginning to realize that they can be drama queens but are hardier than they seem...

High 50s for a couple days. Then I transferred them to another tank that never lost power.

My black widow nems stayed in the cold tank which was in the high 50s the entire time ~5-6 days. They look perfectly happy.

!!! wat. so my 71 degree nem is just a prissy little princess. even when I got the temp back up it had a prolapsed anus the entire time.

when your nems were in the 50s did they look like normal or did they retreat into themselves?

actually quite fitting that your $$$ nems are also bulletproof ;)

They looked ok throughout. But that’s my black widows. My chi and sn took a hit and they needed time to recover. My bw have gone through multiple temp drops into the 60s, ato malfunction resulting in salinity drop to 1.017, spawning event, big nem getting stuck into the HOB tank they were in.. so yes, those are indestructible.
