I'm confused, do you have a window from your house into your garage?
As Steve said, this is just my fish room. My display tank is in my living room and it is plumbed into my fish room in the garage (which I built and is documented in this build thread) where my sump and other tanks are located. When I purchased my home, I made sure I had a nice display wall in the living room that was on the opposite side of the garage so I could do this design. I love building.

Oh the room has been done for a few years. I just haven’t posted much about my build for the last year or so because not much has changed. I’m going to redo a little soon out of boredom and then I’ll have updates.

Nice. Now they won’t get toasty. I still need to move my equipment from the garage back into the house before I go out of town in July. Really not looking forward to redoing everything.
Fish room. Do it.

So much better with a back office.. like moody gardens. Where the real action is behind the scenes.
I have a little bar top, a small tv on a swivel that connects to WiFi, and a nice tall chair. I sometimes just sit in there and watch tv. It’s my little clubhouse and only I’m invited!!! Haha

Good, was wondering if I was the only one who hides out in fish room from family.

So where is this in your house?
Its a front/office room then the fish room is a converted big closet ~ 8'x12' and another entry into garage and building stairs to access above garage to store stuff.. never ending.

I thought about expanding my fish room in my garage but I just don’t have the space. I have too many tools and my garage is just a standard sized one. The other thought was more tanks in one of the front unused bedrooms, but I like keeping everything in one room and out of the house.

Alright, updates. It took a while to get the perfectly mirrored holes in the back to duplicate what was originally used to mount the canopy. I just finished getting all the lights up and programming the timers. We will see what it looks like tomorrow when the lights come on. I’ll make adjustments then.

$130 in my pocket with six units versus a single radion. @Reefahholic can we measure light distribution
for the BRS video?

I have to order the shorter cables to hide this birdsnest. When I’m done, there will be one white cable coming up the back, and all the lights will connect to a bar on the canopy, probably mounted in the back.
