Thanks and yes it is, i had a FOWLR tank in college for a few years. Wanted to get back into the hobby but I moved a lot while in the army for 10 years since moving here and deciding to stay made perfect sense to set up another tank. I kept this new tank just fish and rock for a few months while doing research on corals finding ones that I liked as well as their water parameters, light requirements / flow etc. So far have a small mushroom colony, an Australian torch, a small bubble coral, and 2 frags of reverse superman montipora. After a month everything seems to be doing really well. I’ve dosed with reef roids once per week, but keep a close eye on parameters (I’ve heard it can be a polluter) each week before doing a weekly 10% water change. Looking at the pics from when I first got them the corals are growing and doing well. Fish are great But lost the royal gramma, he was swimming and happy one night then the next morning was already upside down and gone on the sand bed. I can’t figure out what happened to him. I only had him for about a week and he was the last fish I added.
