So, I went in search of viable eggs to rescue and found that James was willing to help me out. He has put a lot of time and effort into helping me collect his newborns. From the first batch I have collected from him, I have 13 current surviving to the 28 day mark. I am extremely pleased with these numbers for my first ever attempt at rearing sea life. My plan is to keep 2 of the original clutch for myself. I will be donating the remainder of the clutch back to marsh members at the 3 month mark, when they are safe to transport. If this is something that you would be interested in please comment below with 1 or a pair, so that I can keep a running log on interest.

I plan on doing more at my earliest success, so keep an eye out.

I have plenty of housing, and am installing sump and refugium today. If anyone has adult clowns or adult pairs needing a home or temporary boarding please reach out to me. With desired clown pairs going for over $1000 it’s not likely I will fill my 12 tank setup any time soon.

Thank you for your interest in this endeavor.

Do you have any pics of the parents/babies?

Thanks for doing this, its a really nice idea! Great way to give back to the community and I'm sure people will really appreciate getting a homegrown clownfish, its really special to be able to see them growing up and the parents and all of that. You're super awesome!

I’ll send you yesterday’s video to dm. I’ll link the snap shots to this comment. James may have better mommy pics than do I. I’ll crop the video he sent into a photo but it does not show the entire fish. Just the eggs.

Nice now get ready for normal 200-500 babies from each litter for percs..... tomatoes (lightnings/gold nuggets)... 2000+ but need different foods as fry are smaller and grow faster.
