My opinion is that GFO should only be used if you have out of control Po4 levels or a nuisance algae problem. A mature system should find equilibrium around the level your seeing unless the fish load is super high or over feeding is a problem.
The rigs in the Gulf once you get past 40-50 miles offshore in the blue water are loaded with LPS.
Do not see why this wouldn't work as long as the larvae are viable.
Way to cold for any cool fish or peppermint shrimp.
You might get some blennies or skilletfish but that would be about it.

Got a Salifert kit from ADG, did two tests and got alkalinity results in the high 12 / low 13 range compared to the hanna which tested at 11.9 today.
I can only think that the first reagent bottle went bad, or was bad to begin with. I know that I purchased it in September from my BRS...
