Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson is the best book I've read on it. Its older but you can follow her method perfectly. Very little improvement has or needs to be made to her system.

Sharpest straight blade you can find, cut them perfectly in half. Have to make sure the mouth and foot are both cut through the middle. Dip in an iodine wash afterwards, and replace in tank. Give it four weeks and they should be back to normal. Dont let any fish harass them in that first two...
Its not copper, its "reef safe". I do know it causes pH to drop considerably so that points to a couple different directions. Pretty sure it doesn't kill ich it just promotes healthy mucus layer with the Rally and maybe increases beneficial bacteria. Tank still infested with Ich but the fish are...
Hypo stresses them if you went drastically from 1.023 to 1.012, but there should be no stress once adjusted to the salinity. I was running PraziPro + Copper, but the copper is harsh and way more stressful on the fish than the salinity and its easier to measure.
For sure the bulky timers are workhorses but being able to check from work if my crap is working is great. Of course I believe you employ security cameras like I do to monitor your fish room correct?
Anyone have thoughts on just running hyposalinity right off the bat? Drop salinity to 1.012 over first 48 hours and let them adjust. Medicate for bacterial if needed. Six weeks of hyposalinity.
Update, everyone is doing fine. Moved two pairs of breeders into the fish room. I expect itll take a month or two for them to adjust to the new environment.
I picked up three 70 gallon tanks from steveb yesterday and have sanded down the stand and painted it. Will be moving this into its spot...
No the dude swam out of the anemone this morning. I could feel it inside the anemone. It either dove into the mouth when it was expelling waste or it was wedged in between folds of the anemone and just felt like it was inside. Like I said I’ve never experienced it on this level, I’ve had mouth...
Was working in the fish room tonight. Fed the clowns and they were perfectly fine. Little male looked great, he even fed one of the smaller RBTAs. Anyway fed the nems and within an hour lights went out and I did my tank checks for the night. Can’t find the male anywhere but the anemone...
Definitely ich. Hyposalinity and freshwater dips and it all fell off. Water changes and 1.012sg for six weeks. Fish are active and eating now. If it was velvet the hyposalinity would not have helped.
No pictures, didn’t take any at the time and it’s all cleared up now. Fish even regained all...
