Update: we managed to tighten up and so far no more leak! There is indeed some sand in the overflow so we may have to drain it at some point to avoid further leakage.
thanks again for your help @Slayer311 and @Bigger Rick 🙏🏻
Thankful for the MARSH community always here to support 😊
We almost had a short circuit this morning!
There appears to be a leak at the bottom of the tank where the tubing joins the tank.
Question: can this be tightened up manually without risk? Or should this be handled professionally? Not sure if the sealing is a hardening one or not?
Currently I am...
Well I managed to grave a couple of $5 frags and otherwise just picked a few more pieces as I am kinda restarting from zero! Just won the right to purchase at a good price I guess [emoji16]
I also was glad to just see so many nice pieces that I prob will never dare getting!
If there was a draw...

Hi all! So I’ve ordered a few corals that were supposed to be delivered this morning. Just called Fedex and they said they’re stuck in TN!! Will the corals survive 48hrs??! [emoji30]

Ok so tank now cycled. I will be going very slow. Added two blue chromis for a start and a shrimp. So far so good.
Will look around the posts to see if anyone close by has any fish in the next week or so. Also will be looking for easy corals. Let me know if you have any
Happy to finally be...
Thanks! I think I have two issues: material and size... a tub wouldn’t look great in the middle of the room I’m afraid...
I guess I can’t have it all unless I put the funds!

That’s the tricky part...
We would want to hide this behind or under the sofa so... that means it should be very narrow. But I currently have a 4-5gallon container (ugly I must say!) and it empties in less than a week. So I’d need something about 10-15g I think.
Hubby suggested a circular pvc...
Hi all,
Trying to find a new ATO container (about 10-15G) for my 90G tank. I trust it doesn't necessarily have to be acrylic but should be food-grade correct?
Would something like this be ok or does it have to be a specific material...
