I just changed my filter floss out last night and may still have some on the the floss. there are typically several dozen. I can save the floss out. I just checked and there are still several that a nice and red, but curled up. I can bag them. Let me know.
I layered super glue (liquid) combined with reef sand then you can emarco and shape it the way you want. Superglue was very strong like the mortar. Phamily94 showed me his technique and his tank is full of long shelves.
Depending on your slicer settings, the tolerance is fine. If they are tight, you can use a tap/die, but it’s not needed. The bolts will snap with too much force because printed along the thread. You can use my long bolts and it will work better.
Cleaning out my floss and noticed this little creature. This is the best image I can get. It looked like a shrimp and what appeared to have claws. I thought it was only shrimp I have is cleaner and pistol.
Any ideas?
I ran out of Fritz 2-part Liquid Calcium, instead of buying Fritz again, can I just mix my own (like BulkReef) and dose with that mix? I’m guessing yes, but want to be sure.

I got an order from them last week. They had a lot in stock a few weeks ago, everything was good except I was disappointed with the amount of visible pods. They aren't known for that, but I tried to see what they can deliver.
I know it's an older post, but I've used and endoscope (link) in the past just to give me a start. Drill a small hole on one end then use that to get an idea how the joists are running.
Not sure how it would hold in saltwater, but it is water proof and small enough that I though about using it...
In my old setup the direct method was leaving RO unit in a timer and it was directly connected to an ATO which was my top off. The doser was also tied into the timer so I would dose kalk into the reservoir. It went this method because I didn’t want my ATO, that was dosed with kalk, to be...
