I picked out a nice healthy Golden once. She was beautiful. She also had excellent taste in corals. She immediately ate the tissue off the most expensive SPS frags in the tank. She ignored the cheap corals - only the best would do! I ultimately took out half the rock in the tank to catch her...
Tenny,
You have two CBBs in the same QT? I’ve been wanting to eventually try to pair mine with another but have heard they can tear each other up if you get it wrong (and they are not dimorphic to my knowledge). Any tips?
Will we have access to outlets for heater and air pump on the bus? I can buy a battery-operated pump but can’t solve for the heater. I’ve never done this - anyone have tips on how to handle a fish in a bucket for the day?
Fish is eating PE Mysis out of the feeder now. Had to teach it to eat spirulina brine shrimp out of the feeder, then added PE Mysis in with the brine shrimp, then stopped adding the brine shrimp.
Put some large pieces of scrap PVC and acrylic in the tank to throw off the tang. It reduces the territoriality if they feel they’re in a new place. The CBB has spines and can fend off a tang. I wouldn’t worry.
Oh, probably 1/4” or 3/8”. I tried to make them bigger than necessary. In my old tank, I zip-tied the feeder to a power head magnet so I could mount it on the wall for easy access.
I picked up the CBB at Infiniti Fish. Was very impressed with how Lucy took care of the fish.
Eventually, the...

You need to find one that will wolf down PE mysis in the store. The ones that peck a little and spit half out won’t last. When I found one that was eating PE mysis very well, I took him home and he lasted for years. Sold him when I broke down my last tank. I had another good one for a few months...
