    Yes flatheads/yellow cats when small prefer live or fresher baits so anything that looks real fish they go after. They’re considered one of the better tasting freshwater fish for a reason [emoji16]

    If you want to catch gar fish the bayous. Tons of gar and lots over 30”. The bayou also has Bass, Freshwater drum, perch, sunfish, bowfin and many others.
