Any advice on controlling this stuff? I having been trying to remove it manually, but can't seem to get ahead of it.

blow torch. its really SUPER invasive. It completely overran one of my frag tanks. Was trying to fish the zoas out from it but I'm at the point of contemplating pulling all the rock and putting it a trash can full of bleach water.

you might try coating it with kalkwasser paste but if its a lot you would have to worry about spiking the Ph of the tank.

Thanks. What about Joe's Juice? Do you think I could kill it with a needle and syringe? Pulling this stuff is like weeding the flower bed with tweezers and flashlight.

sure you don't mean pulsing xenias, athelia is very controllable only multiplies on its home rock. pulsing xenia pop up everywhere
I read somewhere that the difference is anthelia have 8 branches like mine. I could be wrong. If Xenia is there anything else I can do?

that is xenia and they will take over the tank. take out 1 rock at a time and destroy it. it will come back several times but you have to stay at it. Nothing is real effective the only sure remedy is hard work.
