Oh after a couple of offensive quotes, I’m done with that endeavor. The new hvac does an amazing job keeping my house cool, and with a 16 SEER rating, I’m very curious to see how July (first complete month with the unit) compares to my last years electric bill
@Cody I went from 10 seer to 16 on our downstairs unit back in April. Upstairs already 16 seer (replaced 3 years ago). I haven't seen much difference but your mileage may vary.

I try to make money trading stocks so I have to know what is going on in USA. I have no patients and only seem to have a bit of luck trading the big stuff. I have made money the last 6 months trading stocks so will stick to what I am doing along with my small hospital pension. Covid seems to be a lot worse in USA. Covid was the last straw as to why I retired in March of 2020. Did not make sense to me being 59.5 at the time and working in a hospital while having direct contact with covid patients. In spring of 2020 I heard that in Italy they were not giving people over 60 respirators. I am Italian decent so after 40 tough years it was time to retire on my small hospital pension. These are all approximate numbers but USA 620000 deaths pop 320 million. Canada 37 million 28000 deaths. Now they are saying we will probably all catch it.

Way off topic here so I apologize in advance. My family is from Bedford, Nova Scotia (I am an Albertan) and your profile pic is awesome. Is this Theodore's new home? The company who sold it just couldn't keep it due to the slow down caused by the pandemic. Sorry this is way off topic, but I just noticed it and wanted to comment on it. Also an interesting story about Theodore. When Halifax residents would complete their citizenship they would do a dinner on Theodore to help them celebrate.

I have done a Halifax trip and I think there are still some pics of the 2014? Trip in the marsh travel forum . The tug came to Sarnia Ontario Canada last Friday morning for a 24 hour stop over. Me and doggie walk around Sarnia Bay almost every morning. I took the picture thinking it would be an awesome picture. I never watched the show.

I never watched the show either, but I know the boat! Lol! I have seen it many times on the Halifax waterfront. I've been there almost every year since childhood (Covid has really messed that up as well). One Aunt still lives in Bedford, and another in Sackville. Then my one set of surviving grandparents are in Advocate Harbor (Dad's side of the family has been there since after the expulsion of the Acadians). Super cool to see it in use though, because it was sadly moored in Bedford basin near Sobey's for a long time. I am long overdue for a trip to Canada.

If you click on the picture it becomes clearer. Now fully vaccinated Americans can come to Canada via land crossing. There might be more to that so check it out online before yous come. Have a (bay of) Fun day.

Yeah, my parents are going up for my grandmother’s funeral. She passed away last year due to a broken hip and her funeral has been postponed. Unfortunately due to money and time constraints I will not be able to go. It’s relatively easy for Canadian citizens to travel into Canada now. You just need a Covid test 48 hours before the flight and then another one when you get there. It’s a bit of a pain, but doable

Ya I doubt it will stay here... Sarnia is only a small city and we already have a much larger tourist party small ship. It is usually parked close by but I heard it is getting dry dock maintence. Duc de Orleans 2. I do not know why the pics are coming blury but if you click on them they go proper.

I walked by closer today. It has local sponsors for to be here for now. Back to covid. Cases are rising a bit here for now but not too bad. Most are wearing masks only for indoors where it is government mandated.

Now soar throat and ear infection is a covid symptom…so what the heck happened to getting a cold or flu.

Pfizer make the billions…it’s about the dollars.

I guess you could tell that to my sister who’s a PA at Methodist or my hair dresser who lost her husband to the virus. Or my parents neighbor who lost her husband to the virus. This is serious crap man. Pfizer is making money off of it, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a serious situation. Last week in my office we had 4 cases. We’ve probably had 20 cases in less than two weeks. So don’t be minimizing it by saying it’s just a cash grab. People are dying (some from lack of availability in beds unrelated to Covid) and our medical professionals are exhausted.

Multiple dentists I know are sick with COVID, some hospitalized and not returning to work for months. I treated a pediatric patient today who lost his dad to Covid yesterday. Very, very sad. Multiple patient cancellations due to either guardian, patient, and/or entire household being sick. Office is back to strict COVID screening protocol. At the very least, mask up.
