Good afternoon,
Been away from this forum for a while but decided to post about a coral I'm struggling with.
My tank is a innovative marine 30L. The coral is directly under a kessil 360X about 6 inches from the bottom of the tank. When I bought the coral from IJAM corals he said he had it...
My elegance coral never liked the place i put it but it was far enough away from everything as to not sting everything. It literally just detached from its skeleton, like clean, and started floating around like a anemone. Seems to be doing just fine, picture is one week later. You think You've...
Good Afternoon All,
I keep finding large bites taken out of my small open brain. It regrows back but it stunts its growth. Caught my large sea urchin munching on him. Maybe there was some algae and then the urchin got hungry for flesh!
Anyone experienced this before?
The urchin got kicked...
Hey all,
I got a peppermint shrimp, medium, to help em with my aptasia problem. I used to have a cleaner shrimp but he went missing. As soon as i put the guy in the tank my orchid dottbacky came out and took a bite out of his head. He died shortly after.
Do you think a large peppermint shrimp...
Got monti eating nudibranchs again. Had them like six years ago. Got them from a local LFS. I always struggle with dipping corals. They usually struggle after. But I guess I need to start uuugh.
It was a jedi mind trick. it was maybe 1/4 eaten. Did a coral RX dip and brushing the infected area...
I just did a syphon and dump. Which I had done previously. This time I didnt syphon the gravel.
In previous times I syphoned the gravel, made sure the specific gravity was spot on. This time I had gotten complacent and not perfect. The jellyfish books say you should remove the jellyfish before...
Hey all long time no talk,
I got a teenny tiny filefish from Petco about 4 months ago. Destroyed all my aptasia! He's doubled in size since I got him. Over the last couple months only my acan lords have been going downhill. No extension, lost like 3 colonies so far. Just saw the little bastard...
They lasted 4 months and one bad waterchange and they all died within hours. Sorry for the year later response. I haven't really been getting many marsh messages.
Been reading up about jellyfish and nutrition. Been feeding them newly hatched BB
Has anyone used Selco with good results, any tips?
What difference did you see in your fish?
Yeah transferring them I tried to get pictures, but it just looks like water. All the instructions talk about not allowing them to touch air so I used a ladle. The urge not to transfer their water was still strong from years of the hobby telling me not too.
so a small Jelly, a medium jelly, and a large jelly. Maybe i should have just bought three small jellies. It seems they bagged the first three they caught lol
