Check your igniter.
Take it off and check for very small cracks. It will probably look like a whitish line going across. You can also check to see if it to see if it has continuity. But that is not always a tell tale sign. They are pretty cheap I would just change it out.
Next I would check...
So what all have you checked?
In my experience the gas valve is usually towards the end of my diagnosis. Have you checked the limit switches?
Also check your igniter. It will still send voltage for a min. Or even light with a small crack in it depending on which one you have, but will not...
If you go to seawolf park and it is packed just hit up the left side before you go into the park. Just walk up and down the beach.
Are you going for a day trip or night?
Live finger mullet or flounder pounders with the curly tails.
Have fun bud!! Wish I could go but I am booked to the middle of Feb.
Just real in slow and if you feel like you might have hit something let it sit for about 15 to 20 seconds or till it starts moving then set the hook. Flounder are...

Just like any other nems. They will catch what they can, but i have seen small fish come in contact with a few tentacles and just flick there tail and get out.
One thing I will say is they don't look like that under reef lights. I always enjoy them better under a more natural sunlight spectrum.
I heard from a guy named lasse on r2r that suggested putting any new critters in the sump for a couple of weeks, so the fish picks up the tank smell.
It makes for a good introduction
I think you told me that already??
Anyway how much algae do you want? And what kinds? All of them? I also have a turtle grass shoot if you want to try and grow that.... And possibly give me some tank numbers as it grows.
