Maybe, but I like the way it looks. It also seems to add more space than it subtracts, and I have a couple corals in mind for the shaded part (which is the jawfish's main entrance. Guess I'll find out how it works after I start putting in lps and sps.

Yes and no. Part of it is and part of it isn't. The plan was to have a variety for the jawfish but when I was mixing the sand I didn't do a very good job lol. Over time I'll take some coarser parts out and add more of the finer. Both sands had aragonite so I'll just keep the sand clean untill I get it where I want it ... Not too worried about junk getting stuck atm b/c there is a bunch of flow lol.

Did you glue or adhere the rocks together or are you using Jedi mind tricks to keep the balanced together? What are the physical dimensions of the tank? Do your longterm plans consist of keeping the big honking Koralia in there as well? I have a Koralia Nano on the backwall to keep the display clean. Just my two pennies worth. Looks great overall, keep the pics coming. Guess I need to start a thread on mine...LOL.

I used a masonry bit to drill holes through the rock then inserted pvc pipe through the holes. I think I'm going to take the koralia out lol ... it is huge in there and I think the return is putting out more than enough gph. If it turns out to not be enough I will probably put in a koralia nano. And yes, start a thread on your tank :) !

Not Hungry?! (probably still hungry  )

And the jawfish has been busy digging. He doesnt like any of his current holes with the lights on, so he goes back under the overhang he made and shares it with the crab. Maybe he will make something he likes soon lol ...
