has anyone done a tank using a standard 10gal? i have a bunch from collecting turtles and what not as a kid and would love to convert one maybe put baffles on one side and make it like a kinda fuge slash tank? really just trying to get some ideas and have some fun!!!

I was thinking that I would put a false acrylic wall in the back of the tank and then do a baffle system with bio balls mini skimmer and a mini fuge area like maybe 4 wide so I have a 6 by 12 by 20 area and build a custom hood with 2 18" t5hos and a blue flouressent computer light for night lighting from frys

i get you pictures of mine some time, its doing amazingly, i have three types of discosoma growing and my phsycadelic rodactis just split for the second time since i bought him in oct, zoas are proliferating and my kenya is an amazing centerpiece i recently started adding stonies. have a monti cap and a small red acan im running a HOB filter with carbon and filter wool i have 10lbs of LR


heres a hint. for lighting all you need to do is go to walmart and buy the incandescent hood the have for a ten gallon, at most fish stores they have coralife 20W compact florescents 50/50 actinic bulbs get two and you have four watts per gallon of flourescent light for $60 my corals are doing great under it
