Yes, I picked it up. Waiting on the tools to patch it up now. A bit more cost than I thought. But wanted to make sure it’s done right

What did you order to patch it with? I'm familiar with the tank and the patch you are needing to do because I've seen the tank in person.
I’m going with weld-on 42 (it’s essentially weld-on 40 but in pre-ratioed tube) but didn’t realize it needed a specific applicator gun for it.
After researching it’s apparently a better alternative to weld-on #4 and #16 combination.
But regardless still patching it with an acrylic part. But instead of the giant block OP gave me I went with an acrylic prism that covers the hole perfectly and will act as a gusset

Yep. Weldons 42 makes the strongest bold of the Weldons, and that applicator isn't cheap. I use it somewhat regularly. Make sure to drill out any splinter fractures so they don't continue though. I think there was one hidden within the break.
