What’s the plan for lighting? My new tank is also 72” in length.

My buddy switched from radion g5 to Orphek iCon wow these lights are awesome.

I’m thinking about getting the iCon now let the g5s go.

For a big room at a home or office that is my fav size of tank. I like a tank with depth if possible.

To save money I'm going to use lights I already have. 2xAI32HD and 1xAI64HD as well as some T5's. I have a canopy for it that I bought after the stand so it is still bare wood and I want to stain it before setting it up.

I don’t blame you everything so expensive now.

Any fans in the canopy? I think a couple of computer fans would be good for removing some of the heat from the T5s.

I have two of the white fans bulk reef supply used to sell and they kept the tank cool in an apt that got rather hot. I'll probably see if I can get away with not having fans since it will be cooler by the time I have it set up and this winter I'm thinking of getting a minisplit and erv for the office. This is a home office and the erv would blow fresh air in the office and suck the stale air out of my server rack causing a flow of fresh air through the house.

Basically, instead of a pinky sized tube to get fresh air to the skimmer, the idea is an arm sized tube to get fresh are to the full room and house while recovering some cooling/heating/dehumidifying. Also, instead of a fan on the tank or a chiller the plan is to have dedicated room cooling/dehumidifying that is efficient enough to run a long time if a hurricane knocks out power for a week.

Lmao.. that is all pretty comical.. I’m sorry, I thought I was the only one that this happens to. Just shy a 1/2” and well…. Let’s just say I have learned the hard to slip fit everything before assembly and even than sometimes it’s not enough.

A for effort.

At least I got it all together, leak tested it with no leaks. Unfortunately I went to put in the roller mat and the plumbing interferes with it..... Fittings I need to re-route the plumbing should be here Tuesday.
