I like that the inside of the canopy is white. I often wonder how much light is wasted being absorbed by a black canopy that could otherwise be reflected back into the tank, but have been too lazy to borrow the PAR meter and experiment.
I got a seneye and taking the front panel off on the side I'm measuring drops par up to 10 points. I have par at ~200 on the sand bed.

Pistol shrimp and Goby have decided on a home it seems. That shrimp really likes shells, is collecting all of them. Clowns seem to prefer hiding in the rocks over there as well. 6ft tank and the 3 fish in it are in the corner within 6 inches of each other....

Stocking is going to be slow. Between helping my mom out with some $ and the lights I had frying causing me to get 3x neptune sky's, my budget is about gone for now. I do have a few things though. Just reduced the light in the tank since two of my corals were a bit pissed and well above the par they like. Went from 200 on the sandbed to 125ish.

I have an angry babies breath favia that has never looked good for me. Goby and shrimp have moved in under it.

Some orange monty digi or something from the WWC TNT rainbow weekly pack. This one is already growing and has some white growth tips just not great color. The acro before also has some growth.

And a frag or two of mystic sunset. This is not bleached, just the color it takes under the lights I like. Gets much darker under blues. Plan is for this to encrust onto the glass, then I'll take out the frag rack. Already started on the left.

Going to hopefully this week get my 60 cube cleaned up and plumbed in as a fuge to help raise and stabalise ph. Also got some corals in a 40 all in one cube that will be the qt. Mainly some mushrooms on a rock that I need to figure out how to get off.

qt tank is under much bluer light so the chunks of mystic sunset on those rocks colored up a bit. Also, yes, galaxia everywhere...

I also have my clowns in there, they just always hide in the rocks....

Not sure what other fish to add yet. I do want a fancy foxface, blond naso, yellow corris wrasse, and powder blue or brown tang. Also want a bristletooth tang of some sort, just not sure which one I want. Pondering a few other fish, just not sure which ones. Last fish will be a dozen or so blue/green chromis.

I also set up a small 60G refugium on the other side of the wall. Lights are controlled by ph, I turned on the white T5's to take a photo. PH is 8.15 atm and when the chaeto ball gets larger I'm going to try using it to keep the ph 8.2 or higher.

I’ve never been able to get ph above 8.2 without a co2 scrubber or kalk wasser

Curious what a monster refugium can do.

I like to take pics every 3mo to keep track of growth since some times you don't really notice it. I think I used a filter last time, but my lights are mostly white and they look more like they do in person without a filter even if a bit blue so the updates are a bit bluer.
