My new setup, couldn't do big tanks anymore so went back to the original tank.

chamber 1: filter pad and carbon
chamber 2: chaeto and heater
chamber 3: filter pad and MJ900

2 koralia 1 and koralia nano for extraaa flow!
lighting: 70w metal halide (14k) w/led moonlight

50lbs of live rock. (most have been nuked due to old tank -green/red algae)

25 lbs of black sand.

I did jump start the tank with 5 gallons of old water from another tank when doing a water change and got chaeto from Chris (cstewart79).

will be back to be updated. Thanks Marsh!

diamond sandsifting goby in a nano.... interesting...

I didn't have enough flow under the rocks and back side, so the goby does a good job cleaning it up besides it jumping out

Looking good. I like the rock scape with the center cove. What light fixture are you using?

Thanks, I'm using Current USA 4(24watt) T5 light fixture with ATI bulbs

Vortech MP10 would clean up that tank nicely without too big of a footprint and take care of all the flow needs.. Sadly that goby will eventually starve in that tank at some point so I hope he gets a new home before that.

Introduce and feed the Gobys brine shrimp. Once they figure out its good food for them they will eat that pretty regular. I have two and they go nuts when I feed my main tank.

On a site note....... I have a pair of mated Diamond Gobys in my 100 gallon and they are both fun to watch and a pain in the butt at the same time. These guys are busy moving sand and digging under my rocks all the time. Flipped my tank upside down the first week. My lower rocks are always being covered by the little MONSTERS. No way am I putting them in my Bio 29G. They are cool but they are going to catch me on a BAD day and I may go fishing...
