Yeah I hit them with phyto feast twice a week, and I do the Red sea AB energy+ recommended doses<<< That food is cool with
solid LED blue on. It sort of glows...But so does the Acan's and torches. I did my water test this morning, everything is doing good
for water parameters norms...
Oh, I wasn't suggesting you were starving them, just that they look ready to eat, lol!

Everything is coming along pretty well, but had a issue with my pinpoint calcium monitor going off all the time.
Well just cut the wires and added a 9V 120V adaptor. So simple. I'm not sure why they didnt do this to begin with
That was the first thought that came to my mine when I got them, 9V battery to power???Wow...
Anyway enjoying it so far

Tank is coming along nice. But I tell ya, torches sure are timid.. But they suffered from flat worms twice.. I thought heck how did they get in here.
Well I didn't dip my cleaner crew. I'm sure they hitchhiked on the snails.. .

Tank is coming along pretty nice. I accidentally over feed my corals last week. Caused a bio load, and I forgot to do a water change right afterwards and two of my Acro's bleached white real fast.. oooops... So did a 20 percent water change instead of a 10.. Everything is fine now.. Sooo I might get a hang on the tank protein skimmer, haven't decided yet.. I found one on line just like the one I had 17 years ago when I had my other tank. Sooo if I get it, I'll know how to dial it in.. No, no fish yet. But thinking about it. I'd like to wait at least another 4 or 5 months before I do. Let the tank settle in some more.. I'd like to get some exotic clowns, like a pair or something. Anyway I think I'm done on getting corals for now. I got about 25 in the tank so far... Oh and I just love my new Kessils... See ya, Have a good weekend folks.

Tank is running pretty good these days. I did acquire a 250W MH.. I don't leave it on for very long during the day when I get home though.
Maybe 1 to 2 hours.. But my main parameters are running good.. About 1300 for Mag, 450 to 480 Cal. and pH at 8.4 to 8.5.. Coralline algae
is growing a lot in the tank, as you can see on the back glass... Hope everyone is doing good these days. I did suffer a stroke right after my
bday this last Oct. Its very scary when you can't feel anything, for me it was my left side.. Thank God though I regained my ability to walk after
2 days and was back to work 2 weeks later..

How do you like the metal halide? I do miss the beautiful shimmer they produced. Never had any myself, but I saw lots of gorgeous tanks with them. The closest I've ever seen from LEDs in their ability to reproduce that shimmer is Kessil, but their spread leaves something to want.

And oh no! Sorry to hear about the stroke! It's amazing you were back up and at it so quick! Glad to hear you recovered well!
