Ok. I noticed flukes, confirmed with a dip. So I dosed the tank with the recommended amount of Prazipro. No ill effects, but here lies the problem. I forgot to unplug my UV filter. Ugh, I pulled all filter media, took the skimmer offline, but completely forgot the UV filter. What should I do? Should I wait the next few days and do the 50% water change and start another treatment? Should I do it right away? Yes I still see flukes on the 2 fish, but I know there are others I don't see. None of the fish seem stressed or anything.

Just me thinking outside of the box here. I don't think it would have any effect on the praziquantel and here is why. Uv works by killing micro organisms since praziquantel is an inert medication with no live microorganism in it why would it have any effect on the treatment. Now if uv functions like microwaves and
Alters the chemical structure of the compound then yes I would worry but it don't think uv does that since it would also alter the structure of all of inert materials in the water. Again just me thinking. Could be wrong though

According the manufacturer UV should be turned off.

"Further recommended use of this medication for fish requires any carbon to be removed from the tank and UV sterilizers to be disconnected from electrical power (turned off).
This is due to both of these striping the medication out of the tank, making it useless."

I find it a little odd though since another manufacturer has this to day

"‘Prazi’ is a one time treatment and because it is so gentle, it does NOT require any water changes after treatment and you do NOT need to bypass your biofilter or U.V. Light. Prazi also will work with any amount of salt in the pond and it is not water temperature dependant."
