What is everyone using to control? Have tried aiptasia x, f aiptasia, and peppermint shrimp. The shrimp cleaned them up for the most part, but also tried eating corals. Caught them and got rid, but have some again and want to rid.

I went with 10 Berghia and I finally got a good CopperBand on the third try.

You gotta have a biological control that will go get the ones you can’t see.

FJW and josh at adg gets Berghia in occasionally.

I got my copperband from nick at ola. First one I got didn’t make it, never ate. Second one didn’t eat for weeks and now is one of my fav fish, eats everything.

Honestly I’ve never heard of a Copperband munching on zoa, corals. No probs with mine anyway.

Copperband works for me. Sadly, mine always go to fish heaven after taking care of the aptasia. Then 6 months later the cycle begins all over again.

I don’t think shrimp eat corals... they eat the dead flesh on the corals.

I’ve caught multiple different peppermint shrimp eating my acans on different occasions in the past after they got all the aiptasia.

FJW had Berghia last week 30 each told me to get 2 but I dont have a big issue with them so couldn't justify it at this time. Plus I didn't want them to starve.

Idk if I can justify $30 each

That’s sorta high really, they are $10-15 bucks online. Really need a group order to defray shipping costs tho.

Eh maybe it’s just those. I’ve had maybe a hundred of them in my tenure with scans in the mix and never had an issue. Same as plenty others.
