i dumped 5 little ones in there a few days ago. now its hurry up and wait. its already been 4 days and nothing has happened. maybe i need to add some biosphere to make it go faster? i make jokes.. but these little suckers are legit. i was using RS Aiptasia X and it seemed to be working. but over time, they just kept multiplying. the RS stuff must be pushing a reproduction response before it dies. tried peps but no go as they just had a bad attitude. first they didn't eat any aiptasia so i stopped feeding so much.. then they attacked my nem and then they where gone.

When I used berghia before, it was about 3 weeks where it looked like nothing happened, and then all of a sudden one day the tank looked way better. I just put 20 of them in my 294 two days ago, so I'm hoping for some results by Thanksgiving.

i had hundreds of them in my overflow, it was packed full... i put 10 berghia in there and forgot about it... went back about a month or so later and all the aptasia was gone! some must have gotten in the sump as well because those are gone as well. I have several wrasses or id put some in my display tank. I dumped about 30 peppermint shrimp in my display hoping they would get those but that hasnt worked at all.

I'm crossing my fingers that my leopard wrasse doesn't eat my berghia. Given the density of my aquascape, and the fact that the berghia are nocturnal and the wrasse goes to bed as soon as the lights start dimming, I'm reasonably optimistic.
