Is it just me or is the owner of all about fish a little on the "strong personality" side.

I've only been in there a couple of times, but it seems like I can just feel the stink eye. It's almost like the guy is trying to push you out of the store if he thinks you're not gonna buy something. He doesn't have that big of a selection, so of course I'm not gonna buy something I'm not looking for.

I don't feel this way at City Pets, FJW, or Fish Gallery.

Man that sucks, I know I've felt that way before. If anything this just proves that the west side of Houston is the best side when it comes to LFS. I've got it good.

All about fish is one of the closest stores to me but I can't say that I have ever had a great experience there. I totally get what you are saying about the stink eye. I miss Neptunes Garden.

Is it the same Kevin that is/was a long time board member? If it's the same dude then he's a Major D$&@ wad. Sold me a tank worth a king's ransom when I first got into the hobby. Didn't know any better then but it's sad some people are just out to make a quick buck.
