My dad used to spear fish and dive in the Gulf. He’s been to the flower gardens quite a few times. I’ve heard some neat stories and wouldn’t mind visiting myself one day.
Do you happen to have any pictures? It would be awesome to compare.

The three pins with hearts....

You can get grass shrimp just about anywhere in sheltered water.

You could even get some off the jetties at the beach if you go when the whistle blowers(lifegaurds) aren't there.

I will be going tommorrow/ Screenshot_2019-03-29-07-31-43.png Screenshot_2019-03-29-07-31-25.png maybe this afternoon to get some fish food if you want me to grab a few( how many) for you?

Airway lane is where I hit a huge sink hole one night. At the end of that road where it turns into beach I always drive out on the sand. There’s been a little ditch there, but the last time I went it was like dropping off a mountain straight on my frame. Had to get about $500 work done on my truck later from that hole. LOL... if you can’t see the bottom...don’t drive through it anymore. It’s super deep unless they fixed it.

Sweet! Anything will be fine. I will have to dig up my cast net and siene later today. It's been a while since I used any of my gear so I need to find it. Thanks for the heads up Reef, I'll avoid the death pits.

Ok! Yeah that place would be a good place to cast net and siene. There is a deeper ditch around the corner as you drive up. Always has a lot of bait fish. Be a great place to set some minnow traps the night before if you’re going fishing in Galveston.

Ok.... How big is your system? I just don't want to overload you, but you could always just freeze the leftovers.

What kind of fish do you have?

Do you want any oysters?

Are you looking for food or pets?

Me and Mr. smootie are in if the weather isn’t crappy. I need some peppermint shrimp. No idea what equipment and/or beers to bring though.
