Swing by the house one day... I have some ulva, cheato, red macro, and some dragons breath if I can find some. If thats not enough... We can go get you some more.

That's awesome. I'm free to swing by pretty much any weekend. My mom and I will be fishing out at that spot on 99th street this evening. It's where we caught the little Atlantic stingrays. Anyone wanna join, you're more than welcome.

How’s the sargassum seaweed right now? I want to catch another sargassum angler.
Not so hot!!! It is pretty slim pickings.

If you go in the water about waste deep next to the jetties on the beach. The seaweed will sometime build up and you get some cool stuff. Just becareful and nothing too risky that close to the rocks. You can't go while the lifeguards are there... They will run you off. If you do, bring a friend.

The pictures don't do it justice.... The whole fish was iridescent and the top fin at the base is orange and goes to a light bluish purple. Give it a few week and I will get some more picture.

Take me with you please. Catching one of those guys has been on my bucket list for a long time. I've been watching the shoreline all summer waiting for the sargassum to come in so I can make a go at collecting them.

Well, I think you may have to wait till next year unless we get a decent storm that comes through the Caribbean.

If I do happen to get one you will be the first to know!!

If the track of this storm shifts a little more south we just might get some sargassum to blow in. What do you think?
