I'm planning on getting an anemone sometime in the foreseeable future and had read that they are notorious for getting into wave makers. I tried looking into something I can use for my tunze 6105 but didnt really have much luck other than using some sponge tied around the vents, which I may have to end up doing, but I was wondering since my wave makers are mounted high if the mesh is even needed? Here a pic for reference. My tank is 24 inch high and tried to keep rock work around half or less under pumps

Ive seen nems on the glass, upper corners of the tank, rocks, everywhere. I’d protect the wavemakers just in case, I used an aquarium net binder clipped to my back glass while the nem moved. Hope this helps!

When I was worried about that, I used these on my Jebao powerheads, they fit pretty snug. Definitely reduces flow though

Agreed. Sometimes they have a habit of inflating and floating around like a balloon while they are looking for their ideal place. They can easily get sucked into the pumps. I would cover with something.

Don't get a Haitian Anem. They will eat your fish. Years ago I had a neighbour over and he did not call them tentacles. Ha ha
