Hey guys/gals I had my large bubble tip anemone somehow go thru the overflow box and all the way to my sock, it split into 5 pieces, i put all 5 pieces in my tank in hope that they would make a comeback. They all look alive so far but extremely beaten up, 4 oyt of 5 have attached themselves to rocks already and the 5th is just laying at the bottom of my tank. My question to yall is should I have just removed them that same day or do yall think at this point they will make it? (Lights are going out for the day but they were showing a lot more life with the lights all the way on.)

I'm pretty confident the ones that have attached themselves to rocks will make it. The other one, not so sure. Just keep a close eye on it and if it looks like it's deteriorating more, you might want to pull it out. If you have an acclimation box you might put it in there to keep other animals from bothering it.

I did have it in there but it seemed to deteriorate faster so I released them and one has attached and the other is just laying on the floor but seems to be making a recovery. My biggest concern was the release of their toxins and contaminating my tank.

How did these guys do? I always thought a nem had to be cut through the mouth in order for the "frags" to survive.
