I have been having an issue with ich or something in my big tank. It started as just a few spots on the foxface that would come and go, and occasionally another fish might have it for a day. I have been just watching it, thinking if I keep the fish healthy maybe it will subside. This morning my orchid dottyback was dead, and the poor bristletooth tang has spent the entire day hanging by the cleaner shrimp, so I think the time has come to set up the tub and try to catch everybody for treatment.
I'm torn between using the tub or the 90g tank I've been using for a QT. The 90g would make it easier to see the fish, but I'm hesitant to use copper in a tank I may want to use for something else one day.
The timing sucks because I had just gotten the fish population about where I want it. And this is on top of the issue with the LPS corals dying.
Sometimes I wonder why I love this hobby so much - it can be so dang stressful.
