Only if they are too tall or made by an unskilled company. Love my rimless tanks!another reason to not like rimless tanks.
It’s real man…obviously they recreated the dialogue for the video. Probably went pretty close to that. Except for “I’m at the fish store buying fish food…be home as soon as I can.”This not real. It’s just content. The conversation with the wife is fake. If it were real, she wouldn’t even be willing to recreate it because she’d be too upset that all the floors in the house were ruined for his stupid hobby. However, if he stood to make a few bucks off of a production that never happened then she’s in.
Tank seams with silicone don’t straight up break clean and perfect with no residue on the glass. Ever tried to clean silicone off of glass? Without a straight razor, and a lot of time and effort, you’ll never get the glass that clean. Straight up just a video created for content.
Yeah once silicone separates perfectly clean from the glass via a razor, it takes very little pressure to pull up the rest of the seam. It would have blown out completely.sand looked kinda too clean. that much separation along the front panel makes me think it woulda blown out. the phone call re-enactment seems dumb. Shut up. If my wife called me saying the tank was leaking, I woulda been dropping f-bombs. Shut up
also them using a container to scrap the sand across the glass made me cringe a lil
I don't think he flooded his equipment. The loss porn would get a lot of clicks, but there isn't any. It's a shop vac sucking up about 50 ml of water from a corner of the bottom of his stand. Who wouldn't have an emotional reaction to an Apex held up while water drips out of it? What does he gain? Well, monetized views, which is what he got by you reposting the video.Go look at his videos from the start. They are all good and it’s obvious the poor guy really loved that aquarium. They spent 6 hrs trying to build a control board. Then he trashed it because it wasn’t perfect. Hooked up with a guy who had a CNC and built a beauty. He is a newbie reefer and went head first into it.
Let me ask you this…what incentive would he have to fake it. It’s not like the reefing community is massive and he’s gonna get a million views on that one video or gain 50K subs from it. No reason to flood his equipment, stand, house, etc.
