It was a 10 year old tank that was put up its second time. No telling where, how, or how long he stored it.

I’d upgrade before something crazy happens. Adhesive won’t stay strong forever. Everything degrades with time. :)
Wait, do you have a tank again?

i like the beveled corners on the stand. are you gonna have a cover for the sump or you gonna put it display as well?

I also heard it was better to go thick tubing from the return to the split and then reduce it down. better yet, dual return pumps for redundancy

I’m gonna put doors on it. They’re outside with rusted hinges so I’ll order some new soft close euro’s, give the doors a light sanding (400 grit) and roll them.

I would run dual returns, but I think I’ll just keep an extra plumbed and ready to go unless I go out of town I’ll hook it up. I’m at the house daily with Covid still around.

yea, call me old fashioned but its a classic.

the lighter colors should give you more par. do you have any reference pictures with a tank full of corals with a lighter background?
