Anyone fish Cypress creek? I did some googling and oy found old post. A lot of them say Bass is running now. I might go give it a try on Sunday with my 4y/o. Only place I see for access is Jesse Jones park and Dennis park but its a long walk to the ccreek.i hope my little one don't get tired and make me carry her and the fishing gear!

You fish out there? Any tips for a first timer with kid?
I live in bridgleland on the Westside of town where cypress creek starts. It gets feed from little cypress creek which is the beginning of it all... it flooded pretty badly last couple of weeks and I'm sure it flushed most fish out. However my neighborhood stocks bass catfish and perch... catch and release. Our ponds are feed from the creeks.

My kid and I went for about an half an hour before she decided to go knee deep into the cold water. There were a few people out there with some fish on thier stringers.

Got 2 keepers. Was there from 1030-2:30. I tossed back at least a dozen undersized ones. I need to learn how to fish these guys and where they like to swim.

I been wading lots of Spring Creek over the month. I have waded wherever I could from
99 all the way down past Pundt park. That was a lot of wading. Got me 2 males this am. Thy still full of the white stuff when squeezed.
