Is anyone familiar with fish vets in the Houston or close by area?

The only closest vet who treats fish that one I have come across thru the fishvets.org website is based out of Dallas.

I've never heard of one here in Houston. I suppose places like The Aquarium Restaurant and Moody Gardens have folks like that on staff, though. Maybe they have an outreach program? @sneezebeetle

Thanks for tagging me @Cody and great question @Reefdude.

Moody Gardens (MG) is staffed with veterinary technicians that are pretty well rounded to all animals including fish and their off-site Veterinarian has some fish knowledge. Ultimately though when it comes down to it, the Biologists are the first to see and typically address any observed animal/fish related medical concerns so a few of them actually have minor backgrounds in fish medicine. While they do not have an actual outreach program and generally keep things in house, Ryan (@Seaturtle), our MG Coral Biologist and MG presence here on the forum is always happy to consult and discuss cases.

Hope that helps to answer your question [emoji846]
