Anyone have a Majano wand, laser, etc they lend out? (1 Viewer)

I was looking to rid my tank of some red mushrooms for good, anyone have a majano wand or high power laser they lend out?

I know some people have success with Kalk paste, joes juice, and aiptasia-x, but I just want to go the nuclear “kill it with fire” route.

It works, but take multiple uses over a few weeks to ensure complete kill. I have used it for aiptasis control and it worked just fine. It would take two or three treatments a few days apart to completly kill them. I lent it out when I lived in Louisiana and others like it too. You will probably need to keep it about two weeks, which is fine with me.

I had an infenstation of aptasia that i tried to combat with a laser. Too many to shoot so i tried some peppermint shrimps from FJW. Worked like a charm! Try some shrimps

I just found a big, nasty aptasia in my overflow....not sure a peppermint shrimp or Bergia could get it with out being sucked down the durso. I may need to invest in one of those bad boys if it shows promise for those of you using the wand.

No they do not. Manual harvesting plus emerald crabs kind of sort of keeps them under control for me.
