I’m so frustrated, my dream fish is stuck.......IN HOUSTON. But I can’t pick it up.

I've been lucky to never have experienced this. Worst I've gotten was a 5pm delivery when expecting a 10am delivery.
Fingers crossed for you.

I just can’t get these people to use a little common sense, there’s a destination scan in league city.

Just mind blowing

Call the local office and explain you have live animals that won't make it and you'd like to pick it up now. Sometime the shipper has to be the one to authorize it.

I've had luck just going there to explain it before too

Just thro my own stubbornness I happened on the hub phone number and the problem is that it’s still on a tractor trailer with hundreds of packages. There’s zero way to get to it. At least the person locally explained it.

They should be ok but it’s certainly not ideal

Sorry to hear. UPS has been iffy for me with livestock lately. This time of year while I do worry about the O2 I worry even more about heat.

So what is your dream fish?

Hopefully I’ll show you tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me vent. Oh and I yelled at ups on twitter for a while too.

Y’all think this too much? I was upset...,

Sadly, I feel sometimes twitter is the only way to get any sort of action from companies since anyone can see it. Although a lot of the time it's "SEND US A DM"... No I took it to Twitter because I actually want a response not you to brush it under the rug.

I think it’s pretty common during these Covid days that overnight shipping is not guaranteed by anyone

I actually had a fish show up 3 days late. Was eating 30 minutes after arrival. So their is hope. And I actually had to go to pick up at fedex personally on a saturday.
Couldnt believe my eyes when I opened the box and it was fine. Depends on how much water shipper uses.

@kris4647 did your fishy show up?

It got pretty interesting. They got here weds morning. Luckily they were shipped in a plastic tote with around 4 gallons of water. The bag they were in broke however, so they were stuck in two small plastic boxes (like the ones you get strawberries in) floating around in around .5” of water. Such a roller coaster of emotions.

The male is a little beat up but beyond that they are good to go. Picked up a huge sebae for them from Galactic because of course they won’t host in my Gigantae [emoji2359].

Sorry I wanted to let everything settle in, here they are!
