Hi marsh community

I want to buy an apex feeding system, but the reviews on the web are positive and negatives.

Who has this feeder? and what is your opinion?

Thanks

Worked fine for me when it was set up. It’s nice since I can do feed mode and integrate in the feeder.

I have had mine for a bit over a year. Works good. I don't use mine every day though. I use it as a back up if Im not home to feed my daily frozen. I just login through Fusion and hit a manual feed.
I also have a camera I can remotely view from phone to make sure the feeder is working. It's nice to see the fish do eat if I'm away for several days.

I know it's a bit off topic, but what camera are you using to monitor your tank remotely?

A cheap Zmodo Mini WiFi camera. I got 2 for $50 bucks on Ebay. There is no control over white balance or anything but as long as the lens is about 1/2" from the glass you get a decent picture with nothing else to buy. All you need is to download the zmodo app. For $25 a camera it does the job.

Here is screen shot I just took from side of my 6' tank.... looks like it's time to clean the glass.

I guess you are ready for your vacation fish keeper.

I need to get a camera before I'm gone for 3 weeks. God bless Apex/fusion. :clap2::mwave:

I love the apex feeder. I not only use for vacation but also use if I am not going to be home in time to feed my fish.

Just got two of those cameras that fishkeeper is using in today. They are easy to set up and do a pretty good job. I wish the definition was better, but then again, they're $25 per camera. They off one that's supposed to do 720p and its only $$8 more than the ones that I got. I'll probably throw in a couple of those in the future too. If I could go back, I would have probably just gotten those from the beginning. Or maybe just exchange these....
