So for years I've been using a Netgear EX3700 as my wireless-bridge, and it's worked decently over the years. Recently I upgraded to a "Prosumer" level wifi setup at my house (Ubiquiti Unify) and it hasn't played well with the EX3700. Occasionally it'd work, but most of the time it hasn't worked at all.
Frustrated about this I bought another Wifi repeater the other day only for it to arrive DOA (doesn't put any wifi signal out to even do the setup!). So off I went, searching for a better solution and came upon this: Amazon.com: Wireless to Wired WiFi Bridge Repeater, 300Mbps USB 2.4G WiFi Network Dongle, RJ 45 Ethernet Port, Great Ideal for Printer, Digital Industrial Scale: Computers & Accessories
For $20 I figured I'd try it. There is a AC1200 and a 802.11n model but I read a few negatives about that 802.11n model and I don't need speed). Within about 5 minutes of getting it... I had it up and running off the Apex Classic. I have it plugged directly into the Aquabus and the ethernet and so it's not taking up an extra power outlet. Although if you run your Apex Display off one of the Aquabus USB plugs you won't be able to since you'll run out of USB plugs.
This may be old news to some, but I am ecstatic I don't have to run a cable across my living room anymore and it doesn't even take up an outlet.
