So I have noticed that my skimmer shuts off every 3-5 days without any reason.

Some basic info:

Skimmer plugged in outlet 5
Return pump is outlet 3
Skimmer has a 15 minute delay if return pump turns off

apex software up to date by the way...

See my basic programming-nothing has changed for the last 20 months

If it’s set to off and the apex looses connection it will then shut off automatically. This may explain why it’s random.

Makes sense Gregg. Appreciate it!

I bought 200 ft cat 7 Ethernet cable soon it will be hard wired [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Personally not sure the hardwire will make much of a difference, it’s the signal to your home that may be dropping not interference inside your home. But it sure doesn’t hurt to try!

fallback off means if EB832 loses connectivity with APEX controller (aquabus communication failure) then outlet will go to that state - in this case it shuts off.

Thanks Steve!

Fixed the program, cleaned skimmer, plugged it in apex outlet #5 [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

I’m gonna run the Ethernet cable in the next week or so-glad house is a one story.

yeah I had to run a shielded cable from my office, up inside the wall to the attic (had a drill a hole top plate), run wire through attic, down wall into sun room. From there I have a switch with one connection to apex on display tank and another goes through 2 walls to fish room for the other apex. sheesh what a pain...

So I got home few minutes ago skimmer was off again...apex did not lose connection when I checked the log.

I know skimmer is working properly-it was plugged in directly to a regular wall outlet for 6 days without turning off.
